Product Description
Welcome guests with the charm of Gatekeeper’s Lodge — a handcrafted ceramic village pottery house that glows with warmth, tradition, and timeless hospitality.
At the edge of every storybook village, there’s always a place that feels like home before you even arrive. The Cello – Tales from the Village – Gatekeeper’s Lodge captures that feeling perfectly — the quiet reassurance of light waiting in the distance, a beacon of comfort and welcome.
Inspired by historic English architecture, this village pottery house stands as a tribute to the caretakers, innkeepers, and guardians who once watched over cobblestone paths and ivy-draped gates. Its design blends medieval charm with gentle craftsmanship — a textured ceramic façade, softly glowing windows, and a timeless, hand-finished glaze that radiates warmth.
Part of Cello’s beloved Tales from the Village collection, Gatekeeper’s Lodge is available as both a tealight holder and a battery-operated LED house (2xLR44 batteries not included). Whether you choose the soft flicker of a tealight or the steady glow of LED light, this piece brings a magical, heart-warming ambience to your home.
Place it by your entryway, on your mantelpiece, or among other village pottery houses to build your own illuminated miniature hamlet. By day, its handcrafted texture and rustic tones make it a standout décor accent. By night, it transforms into a comforting light ornament — a symbol of warmth, guidance, and the beauty of coming home.
Each Gatekeeper’s Lodge is a story in itself: the story of those who watched the doors, welcomed the travellers, and stood quietly under starlit skies ensuring every journey had a safe ending.
