Product Description

Find calm and creativity in the soft glow of Scribe’s Retreat — a handcrafted ceramic LED house that brings warmth, imagination, and storybook charm to your home.

Hidden among ivy-clad walls and whispering trees lies the Cello – Tales from the Village – Scribe’s Retreat – LED — a place where words come to life, stories are born, and time stands still.

Part of Cello’s beloved Tales from the Village collection, this intricately crafted village pottery house celebrates the spirit of creativity and reflection. Inspired by historic English cottages, Scribe’s Retreat captures the essence of a quiet writer’s haven — a space where poets once found peace and dreamers discovered new beginnings.

Hand-finished in warm red tones, this tall ceramic house glows from within when illuminated, casting a soft, amber light that evokes the timeless comfort of candlelit evenings. Each window flickers gently, as though echoing the hum of a writer’s lamp late into the night.

Available in two variations of deep rustic red, this battery-operated LED ceramic house blends old-world craftsmanship with modern convenience. Perfect for mantels, side tables, or cosy reading corners, it brings both visual charm and heartfelt nostalgia to your décor.

Whether displayed as a single statement piece or as part of a full village pottery house display, the Scribe’s Retreat adds an aura of enchantment to your home. It pairs beautifully with other Tales from the Village houses like Clockmaker’s Haven and Silk Weaver’s Cottage — each telling its own story through light and form.
